Privacy policy
This policy covers the Kindrift website and every app we publish. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version
We do not collect your data. What you create in a Kindrift app stays on your device. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no database on our side. We do not sell data, and we never will.

Who we are
Kindrift is a family-founded software studio. We build application software that solves small, real problems. Everything below is written by the same people who write the code. You can reach us at hello@kindrift.com.

What we collect
Nothing. Our apps do not ask you to create an account. They do not ask for your name, your email or your phone number. They do not send the content you create to us. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not run analytics that identify you.

Where your data lives
On your device. Content you create in a Kindrift app is stored on the device you created it on, and it stays under your control.
If you use your device maker's own backup or sync — iCloud, for example — a copy may be held in your account under their terms, not ours. We have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes the data it holds on that device.

What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not rent, trade, share or broker it. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not pass anything to data brokers. There is nothing to sell, because we never collect it in the first place.

App store statistics
Apple and Google give every developer aggregated, anonymous figures — download totals, crash counts, which app version is in use. We can see the totals. We cannot see you. That data is collected and controlled by the store under its own privacy policy, not ours.

If you email us
When you write to hello@kindrift.com we receive your address and whatever you send. We use it to answer you, and for nothing else. We keep support email while it is still useful and delete it when it is not. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Children
Our apps collect no personal information from anyone, at any age. That includes children. We do not knowingly gather, store or process a child's personal data.

Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. Anything material is also noted in the release notes of the app it affects.
